Product Engineer

Task & Responsibilities

Act as consultant to Purchasing Team for product technical issue related to customer enquiry and product re-engineering.
Responsible for customer communication related to QA issues.
Technical support to NPD Specialist on reviewing NPD Brief against physical sample before sending to vendor for costing.
Red seal sample approval and if rejected follow up with vendor for CAP taking into consideration of order critical path.
Create Product Specification Sheet after red seal sample is approved, and further complete Product Specification Sheet after gold seal sample is approved.
Packaging / CDU artwork checking, including product fitting, size and construction, and ensure artwork layout is fit for display.
Print proof approval by checking printing conformity with artwork, color, size, material and barcode scanning, and if rejected then follow up with vendor for CAP taking into consideration of order critical path.
Gold seal sample approval and if rejected follow up with vendor for CAP taking into consideration of order critical path.
Any problem with Red Seal Sample and Gold Seal Sample, need to put in Sample Evaluation sheet to alert commercial team.
Work with vendor if any problems during sampling and production, and take into consideration of order critical path.
Form filling, any customer forms relating to product, testing & packing specification.
Check and approve packaging and IM safety warning.
Arrange or conduct Inspection with QC Supervisor if needed.
